When a critical defense
aeronautics facility was in need of a temporary power
station, they wanted a partner who would be absolutely
professional, reliable and thorough – ensuring successful project
implementation. There was too much at stake to settle for anything
less.
The client needed a 4MW
generator rental system that would run between
12 and 24 hours over a weekend. They needed a turnkey operation,
with the vendor capable of managing generators, fueling, freight
and crane service, high voltage connections, and a high voltage
resistive load bank test.

providing all the ancillary services the client had requested.
Once selected, Aggreko continued to provide
this client with peace of mind, adapting to numerous scheduling and
scope changes. The team also arranged to load equipment onsite two
weeks before the shutdown to assure the customer that everything
would be ready with plenty of time to spare.
When the shutdown finally took place in the
heat of June, it had a new estimated duration of up to 48 hours.
Aggreko was able to accommodate the change – not only providing the
equipment necessary even during peak season, but also ensuring
continuous fueling was available for the duration.
