HOUSTON (August 29, 2012) – Aggreko, the global leader in temporary power, temperature control, and oil-free compressed air solutions, announced today that it has been awarded the prestigious international Occupational Health and Safety Standard (OHSAS) 18001 Certification. It is Aggreko’s goal to create a zero incidents culture, and the certification is intended to help the company reduce occupational health and safety risks and safeguard the well-being of its employees and customers.
After completing a mandatory three-phase evaluation process, which includes a third-party review of supporting documentation and surveillance of on-site operations, Aggreko was awarded the OHSAS 18001 certification. The certification will cover all of Aggreko’s service center locations across the United States and Canada. Expected benefits include:
